Re-Outro

Turns out there was less time than I had anticipated.

It's funny how I get sometimes. I get all excited about doing something again, and then I start to get just a little bit busy and all of the sudden I've dropped it completely. Anyways, hi, hello, how are you doing? I'm doing good. I've been busy with activist stuff for a L O N G while now and it's taking all of my scheduling and organizational spoons just to keep my head above the water most of the time. I'd rather not bore you with the details, but it's been very eye-opening for me, both politically and personally. Hopefully I can make some time to get my thoughts in order based on what I've learned; I'd really like to write a small piece on it soon. As for my hobby stuff, I finally added some new music to my internet radio station, and I'm going to try and record some bumps for it--we'll see about getting those implemented some time in the near future. As for my music, the band I was with before kind of fizzled out. No big personal drama and we're all still friends, but we haven't played a show in years and we just kinda stopped practicing. I'm working on some solo stuff now, though the songs I've been writing have been going a few different directions, musically. I think what I'm going to do is split it into two projects: one that's a bit darker and more experimental, and one that's a bit happier and poppier. The plan, as far as I've thought it through, is that I'm going to make, like, two four-song demo tapes and distribute them around to my friends and acquaintances. Then, I can get some feedback on those projects, maybe spread the songs a bit via word-of-mouth, and see if I can generate enough buzz for more long-form musical releases. I mean, I'm going to write and record stuff regardless, but it'd be nice if there were people out there who actually cared enough to listen every once in a while. Oh! One more thing, I recently got into a relationship with a very lovely person who's also into music and activism. If you're reading this, hey babe! I love you! Anyway, that's all I've got for now. I'm starting to formally schedule times for working on personal projects so they don't get left behind, so hopefully you'll see another one of these blog posts come next month. Later!
